INSPIRE - what does it mean for Water Utilitites

Hi all, I have been challenged this morning to explain the impact of the EU INSPIRE directive. I've understood up to now that there is little or no impact on water companies because we are not public bodies, therefore we are not included.  However does any one have a different view on this and if so what data would need to be made available and shared by Water Utilities?

The crux of the case is ...

The crux of the case is whether English Water Utilities are public bodies under EIR. As at the 5th of Jan the decision in the case has not been provided.

Andrew, There was a MOJ court case last last week bought by the Anglers that might impact this I will look for an update.
