Hi - Is anyone aware of a source for, or has in their possession and is willing to share, a GIS Boundary file (Shape file) that depicts the boundary (operational or company) of all the Water Utility companies in the UK?

Lawrence, forgot to follow-up on this from the OS presentation at the last GIUG, Jane refered to "OS’s existing water company polygons" - I will check this out and get back to you.

Lawrence, the only reference map that I've ever found for the UK is on the Water UK website, but as with Ian's, I don't think you could rely on its accuracy. http://www.water.org.uk/home/our-members/list-of-companies

Hi Lawrence, no not one for all the water companies. This was a question that taxed me some years ago and I was surprised to find that one did not exist. We have our own operational border file but thats about it. Would be happy to share if we could get a copy of all the boundaries in return.

Lawrence, we have one we use for display purposes, cobbled together from various source, I stress it is diagramatic rather than anything that should be used for selections, I will send it over.
